Hello!
We are Max from France and Ella from Finland. We met in Australia in 2008 while backpacking across this amazing country.
After we returned to Europe and before we finally moved in together, we went through all the perks and cons of a long-distance relationship for almost three years!
And we survived it!
Ella was living in Finland and Syrian in France. We were 2000 miles apart, and even though it was not easy every day, we found the strength and courage to keep the flame burning and build a real relationship.
Thanks to the Internet and all the new technologies, it is much easier today than it was a decade ago to be an international couple and pursue an LDR even when both lovers live thousands of miles from each other.
This experience made us think about the numerous challenges other LDR couples like us might face. So we decided to create DatingLongDistance.com to help people who are not sure how to deal with their LDR.
